The Kangocho Factory is located about 5km from the town of Karatina at the foot of Mount Kenya .
 We belong to Gicanda FCS ( Farmers ' Co-operative Society ).
Gicanda FCS has over 3,000 small producers in total .
The company owns approximately 285 hectares of land.

Located on the slopes of Mount Kenya, the region is blessed with mineral-rich soil.
Additionally, rain falls at the same time every year, creating an ideal environment for growing coffee.

Here, the skins and pulp of the coffee cherries brought in by the producers are first removed,
Fermentation is done to break down the mucilage around the seeds.
Once fermentation is complete, the coffee is washed in water channels and then dried for finishing.
When drying, stir the coffee periodically to ensure it dries evenly.

The Kangocho Factory is committed to improving the skills and living standards of its member producers.
As part of this, they employ a supervisor who regularly visits their farms and provides agronomic advice.
In addition, we have provided support to members for tuition fees, emergency medical expenses,
We provide loans for the funds necessary for farm development,
We provide training on sustainable farming methods, etc.

Best time to drink

After coffee beans are roasted, their flavor slowly matures.

The best time to drink Roastery Manly Coffee is from 5 days to 1 month, depending on the coffee bean. The flavor will slowly subside after 1 to 2 months, but you can still enjoy drinking it. Please enjoy the change in taste as time passes.
