[Impressions] Coffee grinders (machines that grind coffee beans into powder) are now entering a new turning point.
I feel like this Varia VS3 is a new grinder that appeared like a comet in those times.

Not only the design but also the parts that make extensive use of magnets. It is designed to allow comfortable operations such as adding coffee beans, adjusting the dial, and quickly removing the ground powder.

And what's new about this Varia VS3 is,
Puff and puff the small amount of powder that inevitably remains after grinding! It comes with a silicone bellows cleaner called "Silicone Bellow" that gently removes the dirt using the power of air.
It also comes with its own fine brush!

Additionally, it comes with amazing accessories.
It is a "5ml RDT spray bottle".

RDT = ``Loss Droplet Technique'' is a technique in which water is sprayed on coffee beans to suppress the generation of static electricity before they are ground. It even comes with its own mini spray.

This is my first coffee grinder that comes with a set so far.

-76.5° inclined shape-

zero retention focus
Varia VS3 (Varia stepless 38mm) electric grinder is
Adopts an acute slanted shape of 76.5°.
Using this geometry not only provides ideal zero-retention conditions;
Adding coffee beans to the hopper, adjusting the grinding level,
Improved workflow with 180-degree access to measuring cups.

RDT "Loss Droplet Technique"
RDT “Loss Droplet Technique” to suppress the generation of static electricity

Method
1) Measure the amount of coffee beans into the dosing cup according to the amount of coffee to be extracted.
2) Fill a 5mL spray "RDT" bottle with water.
3) Spray 2-3 times directly onto the coffee beans in the cup.
4) Cover the cup with your hand and shake the coffee beans to disperse the water droplets throughout the coffee beans.
Evenly coat the surface of the beans with a small drop of water.
5) Add the coffee beans to the hopper as you normally would.
6) Wipe off any excess water from the dosing cup before grinding the coffee beans.
7) Set the dosing cup on the cup dock and grind as usual.
8) To keep the grinder clean After using RDT,
Wipe the hopper and cup with a paper towel or a soft, dry cloth.

How to use silicone bellows

Varia strongly recommends using the bellows to clean out any remaining powder or chaff after each grind.
*Also, please do not use bellows as an expansion item for the hopper.

1) Remove the hopper lid and attach it to the bellows (top side with the Varia 'VS3' logo)
The hopper lid will be securely attached to the bellows when placed on top.
2) Next, place the bottom of the bellows on top of the hopper, making sure it fits properly, and repeat the motion of gently pushing the bellows away from the top with your hand.
(This causes a small breeze to blow into the main body,
The powder and chaff remaining inside can be quickly pushed out to the cup dock side). 3) Repeat this process until you are sure that all the powder and chaff has been pushed out.

Best time to drink

After coffee beans are roasted, their flavor slowly matures.
You can enjoy the freshness of freshly roasted food, but the deliciousness is still trapped along with the carbon dioxide gas (carbon dioxide) generated during roasting.
The best time to drink Roastery Manly Coffee is from 5 days to 1 month, depending on the coffee bean. The flavor will slowly subside after 1 to 2 months, but you can still enjoy drinking it. Please enjoy the change in taste as time passes.
